First of all, Raptor2007 is an ex-student of the University who should know better. He still had an alt in the Uni, and although he's been helping with teaching and the war he has been warned about his smack talk in this thread. Perhaps as a result of this warning his alt has left the uni.
We expect all members of IVY League to behave according our code of conduct and if you see any smack or anything like that them please contact one of our diplomats. We do NOT take responsibility for what people did or didn't do before they joined IVY either as an individual or as a corp. We do not "attack" other people's forums or killboards although our members may want to visit those to learn more about you and your members. We have a lot of members so expect some lag. It happens to our site sometimes too, so we feel your pain.
Again people point at us and shout "blob blob OMG!". Well, during wartime people log on and the first thing they ask is: "is there a fleet I can join". With that kind of attitude and with our membership those fleets are often large and I respect anyone who takes them on. I will be the last one to say you're a coward for not jumping into a 100 man fleet.
When I look at our killboard I also see solo and small gang engagements but it seems they don't make it to caod often. Yesterday I myself was looking for wartargets with 2, later 3 other gang members, not a blob by any measure. I am glad to read that so many people are concerned about our training. You can rest assured that we do provide training in small gang and solo pvp as well for those who are interested in learning.
I have contacted Aceoil ingame. Actually, I always wonder why a lot of this goes to the forums at all. Anyway, we still have a lot of respect for the ex-MDK guys, they were one of the toughest opponents we have ever faced. The reason that some of e the ex-MDK are not allowed back in the uni is that some of the uni directors are not happy with them on a personal level because of incidents when they were still part of the uni. My job as a CEO is mainly to keep the directors happy. They put 100s, if not 1000s of hours a year into the uni and if keeping them happy means missing out on two or three knowledgeable instructors then so be it.
Le Skunk, our plea still goes. Regular wars do disrupt lessons but occasional wars are not so bad. The fact that we are neutral doesn't mean we don't have the right to help people who have been helping us intensively for years. Perhaps to some that is not neutrality and to them I apologize that we could not please you on this occasion.
Nexa, you seem like a reasonable person. Let's play the game on tq instead of on the forums.
